Return & Refund Policy

At otakukpop.com, we take pride in creating high-quality handmade fabric flowers, journal embellishments, and natural-dyed materials. Because each item is carefully handmade, we have the following policy in place. By placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted this policy.

1. Nature of Our Products

All our products are handmade to order. This includes:

  • Fabric roses and flowers
  • Vintage-style journal embellishments
  • Plant-dyed fabrics and materials
  • Junk journaling kits and accessories

Each piece is individually hand-folded, hand-stitched, and dyed using natural plant-based dyes. Due to the handmade nature, slight variations in color, shape, and size are normal and considered part of the product’s unique charm.

2. Eligibility for Returns & Refunds

We accept returns or offer refunds only in the following cases:

  • Manufacturing Defects: Clear functional faults (e.g., stitching completely coming apart).
  • Shipping Damage: The item arrived damaged during transit.
  • Fulfillment Error: We sent the wrong item, wrong color, or wrong design (not due to personal preference).

Reporting Period: You must contact us at support@otakukpop.com within 14 days of receiving your order. Please include your order number and clear photos of the issue.

Approved cases will receive a replacement or full refund.

3. Non-Returnable Items & Scenarios

We cannot accept returns or issue refunds for:

  • Change of mind (“I don’t like it”, “It doesn’t match my journal style”, etc.)
  • Slight color or shape variations (normal in handmade and plant-dyed items)
  • Wrong choice of color, size, or quantity
  • Items that have been used, cut, or altered
  • Custom or personalized orders (if any)

4. Order Cancellation Policy

  • Within 6 Hours: You may cancel your order for a full refund within 6 hours of purchase.
  • After 6 Hours: Orders cannot be cancelled because production (handmaking and dyeing) starts very quickly.

5. How to Process a Return

If your return is approved:

  1. Shipping Costs: We will cover return shipping only if the issue is our mistake (defect or wrong item). Otherwise, the customer is responsible for return shipping fees.
  2. Condition: Items must be returned unused, in original condition, with all packaging.
  3. Refund Timeline: Once we receive and inspect the item, approved refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days to your original payment method.
